Tibi is a fantastic guide with great personality. He lives in the heart of the Hohe Tauern mountains in Austria. Naturally, he climbs or skis whenever he can, but he also helps in managing his family's guesthouse in Rauris. Besides knowing the Hohe Tauern like the palms of his hands, Tibi has scaled several notorious routes in the Alps and has recently gotten into expedition climbing in the Greater Ranges. He's attempted a summit climb without sherpas or oxygen on Cho Oyu, where the weather crapped out and on Lhotse.
