If you'd rather climb on your own with a dedicated guide, then hire a mountain guide.
If you're just starting out...
...then you shall take part in an introductory course or climb. You quickly learn the basics that are essential to a safe and fun adventure. Here are some climbs to choose from:

High-Tatras winter climbing - This sport - according to many - is even more fun in the winter. The Slovakian Tatras are a very unique and special place to get acquainted with the sport and it also offers challanging places for intermediate and advanced climbers. Remember, a whole generation of Himalayan record breaking Polish climbers grew up here in the 70s-80s. Reserve your spot for this winter now.
Weissmies and Alphubel - These are easy but fun 4000ers in the Swiss Alps. You get to learn the use of all sorts of mountaineering equipment here.
Chamonix Ice Climbing Course - Hey, it's in the name! Let a seasoned expediton climber share his knowledge with you in the capital of the Alps.
Via ferrate - These are fun climbs/hikes that don't require mountaineering skill or technique. You get taken to spectacular and scenic places on unconventional routes... All in the home country of via ferrate, the Dolomites. Engage in a lighter or a more challenging via ferrata, or hit the rocks around Lake Garda and get some climbing in as well.
