Up to the age of 23, he was just dreaming. Then one morning, Dan got up and took a train to Nepal. He ain't looking back ever since. He's always on the road. For some reason, he's attracted to those "problematic" countries - Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan, Guinea, Sierra Leone - where he obtained his "travel education". Daniel's major areas of interest have shifted to the Balkans and Iran, especially, where he travels and guides our happy clients year after year. He did go to the uni as well, which means he could be working as a schoolteacher or a political science guy, but neither of those professions fit with his neverending desire to be on the road to wierd and interesting places. Now he complements his guiding career with writing for papers and doing photography.
